The Project

Transforming fashion into a powerful social message

HABITUS is a traveling exhibition that exhibits 36 finalists in costumes, 3 hand-stitched dresses and 2 contemporary art installations by designers and artists from all over Italy. Each piece is a visual manifesto: clothing as a language of prevention in the field of sexual health, awareness, and the fight against stigma.

The project combines the world of applied arts, fashion and design with ANLAIDS’ forty-year commitment to the fight against HIV/AIDS and the stigma associated with it, creating a transmedia bridge between generations, stories and narratives and artistic disciplines.
